The fourth session of the "Exploring the Chinese Market" Training Seminar Series was officially launched online on May 11, 2023 at 19:30 Beijing time. The session, titled "E-commerce and Digital Marketing in China", was co-sponsored by the Innovation Training Base of Global Development Promotion Center and the Office of Xiamen Leadership Group for BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center, and co-organized by Xiamen Victwo BizTech Co., Ltd. (Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator) and Xiamen Information Group.
For our fourth training session, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. WANG Zhen, a tutor of DBA doctoral students and master students of HEC Paris, France. Dr. WANG conducted an online case analysis themed on "E-commerce and Digital Marketing in China" and engaged in a lively exchange of ideas with foreign entrepreneurs interested in the Chinese market. With his extensive experience as the vice president of sales for a world-renowned cross-border e-commerce giant and senior executive at several leading Chinese internet companies, Dr. WANG brought a wealth of knowledge and connections in both internet and traditional media to the session. He provided valuable insights into the development history of e-commerce in China, the characteristics of different business models such as B2B, B2C, C2C, the regulatory requirements and policies for online sales platforms, e-commerce marketing strategies, digital marketing (including influencer live streaming and case analysis), mobile payment applications (including scenarios, regulatory requirements, cases, risks and prevention measures), and new consumer product sales models and applications.
Mr. Wang patiently and meticulously answered questions raised by participants and received unanimous praise from the online audience.
