Mr. Wang Minghui Visits Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator

On April 1st, 2024, Mr. Wang Minghui, Director of the NMPA Research Base of Regulatory Science for Medical Devices, concurrently serving as the Head of the APEC Medical Device Regulatory Science Center of Excellence, Dean of the SCU Institute of Regulatory Science for Medical Devices, and Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the SCU College of Biomedical Engineering, made a dedicated trip from Chengdu to Xiamen, and paid a visit to Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator in the company of Mr. Sun Kai, a seasoned consultant and expert in corporate globalization services.  

Both sides reciprocally shared insights into their respective institutions' profiles and explored the possibility of collaboratively establishing a joint platform for the development of the medical device industry under the framework of BRICS Plus and APEC in Xiamen. The envisioned platform aims to attract small and medium-sized innovative medical device manufacturers from abroad and, simultaneously, facilitate domestic and especially Xiamen-based medical device cluster companies to invest in and expand into markets within BRICS Plus and APEC member states, as well as countries along the “Belt and Road”.
