Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator Maintains Momentum

Following the visit of Mr. Jose Ricardo dos Santos Luz Junior, Co-Chairman at LIDE China and Brazilian partner of Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator, who led a high-profile Brazilian delegation specializing in real estate and tourism development to Xiamen and was subsequently appointed as a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee of BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center (BPIC), our South African partners have now also engaged in collaborative exchanges with Xiamen.

On June 24, Mr. Njabulo Nzimande, Managing Director of Expotential Tech and South African partner of Xiamen BRICS+ Technology Accelerator, hosted a Xiamen delegation led by Mr. Wang Xuemin, Deputy Secretary of CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee and Chairperson of Xiamen Overseas Friendship Association, in Johannesburg, South Africa. The delegation held discussions with representatives from key institutions including Gauteng Growth and Development GGDA (Invest SA Gauteng), ABSA, African Oceans Council, and South African Airways.

On June 25, facilitated by the meticulous coordination of BPIC, a delegation of South African SMEs—comprising Tsotha Supply Services, Delphi International, The Kya Group, and others—engaged with over 60 Xiamen-based enterprises in sectors such as healthcare, security equipment, mineral resources, and specialized gas equipment.
