Between September 10th and 12th, a delegation from South Africa, comprising representatives from Wesgro (official tourism, trade and investment promotion agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape) and Standard Bank of South Africa, visited leading new energy companies in Fujian Province. The delegation, which included Mr. Marc Dunnink, Senior Portfolio Manager for Green Economy and Green Manufacturing at Wesgro, and Ms. Jane He, Senior President for Africa China Partnerships at Standard Advisory (China) Limited, along with Ms. Jane Ju, Analyst for Africa China Partnerships, Business and Commercial Banking at the same company, was in China to attend China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT). Victwo facilitated their visits to Heshun Energy, CETL, and Fujian Nebula Electronics, all being prominent players in new energy investment and technological innovation.

During the engagements, Mr. Dunnink provided an overview of the Western Cape's conducive business environment, highlighting specific investment and partnership prospects within the new energy sector. He also detailed the supportive services and financial incentives Wesgro offers to Chinese companies looking to establish a presence in Western Cape. Standard Bank representatives outlined the comprehensive financial and other support services available to Chinese businesses investing in South Africa and the broader African continent. In turn, the Fujian-based companies shared their strategic interests and investment plans for Western Cape and its capital, Cape Town. Given the significant power deficits across South Africa and many African nations, all the visited companies expressed strong enthusiasm for potential investments in South Africa and other countries in Africa.

Victwo is committed to developing tailored service solutions to help Chinese enterprises navigate the challenges of expanding into the African market, thereby facilitating their investment in the continent's substantial growth potential.
